The Darling

Owner Sophie Huterstein wanted to give customers a unique experience and our team did the full gut renovation from start to finish. No detail in the design went unnoticed!

A kitchen + bar, speakeasy-style lounge and a gathering space for dancing the night away, here—customers knock back classic cocktails inside an English manor-styled space and watch an assortment of performers.

This elegant hideaway is disguised as a flower shop entrance (an homage to the neighborhood’s flower markets of old), but hidden behind the burgundy velvet-draped windows as seen from the street on Restaurant Row, is a night full of surprises. Step inside to find a pair of fireplaces on the 1st floor — The Library. An intimate, quiet and romantic atmosphere with special touches like a giant Scrabble board, furniture from England, 100s of vintage books, antique paintings, Persian rugs, and nooks to nibble small plates and sip intricate cocktails.

The Ballroom on the 2nd floor has plush velvet sofas and vintage mirrors, spinning chandeliers, and a lively crowd celebrating, dancing and socializing.
